Job As A Medical Coder - Buffalo NY

Do you have one year of job experience doing medical coding. Do you have RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, COC or CPC-P coding credentials? Do you have E/M and billing experience? A medical coder for thos Cheektowaga NY company will be responsible for reviewing documents and deciphering diagnosis codes. Then they will need to produce and supply codes using a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet for medical specialties.

Other duties included for this job is to follow the official coding guidelines including AHA Coding Clinic, CPT Assistant, CMS Documentation Guidelines, Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting and other similar authoritive resources.

Participate in department meetings, coding training, compliance training, continuous educational classes, and a certification requirements. This means that the candidate must keep all certifications up to date and progress with each program outline.

Communicate with management regarding workload and progress. Be able to perform additional duties  on the job.
